Directions: From I-90 take exit 280 (Maple Street) go north across the Spokane River, turn left at the second stop light onto Maxwell. Continue on for two miles downriver to the Bowl & Pitcher day-use area and campground.

Parking: No WA State Discovery Parking Pass is needed on the date of our hike. Park in the day-use area.

Description: We will cross the swinging bridge and then head south, walking next to the Spokane River. We’ll walk leisurely for about 2 hours, going out and back on the same trail. This will be a discovery hike (let’s see what we can discover along the way) and not so much a guided hike.

What to bring: camera, comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothes, jacket and hat, water bottle.

Cost: Free

Ages: All are welcome; recommended for ages 7 and older due to the length of our hike and the varied terrain we will encounter. These trails are not designed for strollers or wheelchairs.

Registration: Just show up! No pre-registration needed!
